Nickelodeon (often shortened to Nick) was the first American cable network to air 6teen. The channel originally bought the show to air via TurboNick, their online video website. Unlike Cartoon Network, Nick gave the show a TV-Y7 rating and aired every episode in correct order, but skipped a few episodes. In September 2005, TeenNick, a programming block on Nickelodeon geared primarily towards tweens and teens, picked up 6teen and aired it until June 2006, when they removed it from their line-up. It began airing on Cartoon Network just over 2 years later.
