Cartoon Network (also known as CN) is an American cable television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.
On October 23, 2008, 6teen was picked up by the network and became part of the channel's weeknight lineup, starting with the hour-long special "Dude of the Living Dead". This also marks the second time 6teen was picked up by an American channel, with the first being Nickelodeon.
During 6teen's run on Cartoon Network, however, the episodes were aired out of order, and some episodes were banned due to them containing risqué content that would violate FCC standards, with examples such as several episodes having gay or lesbian characters, suggestive themes, or nudity.
Trivia[]
- Ironically, the Canadian network Teletoon, where 6teen originally aired, has now been rebranded as Cartoon Network.
